This one is my first ever spread knife, I got and carved that unbelievable wood in New Zealand, from the Jester House in Tasman precisely from my friend Steve !
This cured, gorgeous piece of Rewarewa made it with me through my travels in New Zealand, France and back to Canada!

Used lightly and refreshed, this one of a kind, story filled knife is a great display or daily use.

Like all of my piece, being utilitarian, they are foremost pieces of Art, with wood and care that I aspire to only bring to handfuls of pieces through the year, as this is not my main activity and a real passion.
The quality of Woods, their cure time, storage, travel, carving and sanding to perfection are hard to express in monetary value as a functional object. This is Art, this is a piece of my Journey.
