Chainsaw carvings

Cedar 4 feet tall

Owl Keeper

My first EVER chainsaw carving is this Skull with a Chubby Owl on it.
Inspired by the Cartoonish works of Skottie Young, I have had the chance to find at last a style that I can practice with, enjoy and is also different from what I have seen yet out there. This piece was made from the biggest Cedar Tree I have taken down yet. Ethically harvested on Private Land, this Tree was threatening a House and had to go. Very happy to be able to keep a piece of it and turn into Art!

Cedar 8 feet tal. Top Hat Exhibited at the Grove Stage at Shambhala Music Festival 2024

Top Hat

This totem is my second Chainsaw Carving, and with its nearly 8 feet tall, it is twice the size of the previous one! This Cedar Log also harvest on Private Property but from a Dead Standing Tree, is a full 360 carving.
From the top down you can find an all-seeing eye on a Top Hat, a Technocrat Astro-not, a Bear, a Penguin and a Mask with 3 little Jesters.

Douglas Fir 12 feet tall w/ root upside down (Owl Keeper in front of it for scale)

Medusa

My next and coming Third chainsaw carving is already harvested but not started yet.
With its towering 12 feet tall, this impressive Fir tree with its nearly complete Root Ball, will be displayed upside down with the Roots likely to be carved as Snakes from Medusa’s Hair.
The finished carving will be overlooking the public and might require a serious bracket or seat to safely stay put.
You can already pre—purchase this Carving by bidding on it.
